APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
A motion was made to accept the minutes from the
previous meeting as written.
PRESENTERS:
Paul Guptill from MHA discussed a need for
a regional diversion plan involving
all EMS agencies and all local hospitals in the region. The EMS agencies gave full support. Paul will organize and contact the hospitals for meeting dates
and times.
Scott
Wadlington from Medtronics spoke briefly on public access to defibrillators.
FINANCIAL REPORT:
No
treasurer’s report was given.
OLD BUSINESS:
No old
business to report.
EDUCATION:
CCEMT-P update: The class is finished all students
passed but one and that student will
retest in December.
Tami
Kiefer stated she is not receiving the roster from IHM. This is needed to
receive reimbursement from SEMO/WIB. Kendall will contact Dave Tetrault.
Rob
dicussed a new Advance Pediatric Life Support course
available called APPLS.
St. Francis Medical Center will be
sponsoring a trauma conference
in March 2005. Topics will include Neuro and trauma resuscitation.
NEW
BUSINESS:
Shane Lockard is the new manager at Twin
Rivers Regional edical Center EMS in
Kennett.
Marty discussed the latest MEMSA conference
and the decreasing number of
attendance over the past several years.

is needed on transports made to St.
Francis Medical Center you can contact Rob Grayhek.
WMD/BIO-TERRORISM:
The
President has approved funding for additional grants. Apply on line at
FEMAS web site and go to grants.
