How to Set Up Windows Mail (Vista)
1) Open Windows Mail.
Windows Mail and Internet Explorer are included with Windows Vista. If you see an Outlook Express icon on the desktop, click on it. If you don't see an icon, click on the "Start" button and "All Programs." Then click on "Windows Mail".
(If a "Setup Wizard" starts, skip to step 4)
2) Find the mail accounts.
Click on:
"Tools" then
"Accounts"
(Remove any unwanted accounts including the Microsoft Communities account by clicking on them and selecting "Remove".)
3) Start a "Wizard" to Add a Show-Me Net account.
Click on:
"Add" then
"E-mail Account"
4) Fill in the blanks:
| Display Name | Enter your real name here |
| E-mail Address | Enter your e-mail address here |
| My incoming server is a _____ server | POP3 |
| Incoming mail server name | showme.net |
| Outgoing e-mail server name | showme.net |

5) Test your e-mail.
Send an e-mail from your computer to yourself. This tests both the sending and receiving abilities of Outlook Express. If you receive the message, your setup is correct. Good job!
